Polish Outsourcing Industry Leaders Gala – Outsourcing Stars
The City of Szczecin was a sponsor of the Polish Outsourcing Industry Leaders Gala – Outsourcing Stars which took place on 16 January in Warsaw. Outsourcing Stars is the first Polish project which is aimed at awarding the best and most dynamically developing providers of outsourcing services and their immediate business environment. Outsourcing in today’s economy is omnipresent being more and more frequently used both by international investors and local small and medium enterprises. Outsourcing Stars Gala is a perfect place to meet the best outsourcing companies in Poland and to meet the representatives of Investor Assistance Teams, the media, associations, chambers of commerce and of other organizations surrounding the outsourcing industry in Poland. The City of Szczecin was nominated in the City Outsourcing Star category.
The following outsourcing sectors were awarded in 2013: BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), Call and Contact Center, Car Fleet Management, HR, Sales, Accounting, Payroll, Project Management and Document Archiving. Cities, Real Estate developers and consulting companies contributing to the development of outsourcing in Poland were awarded as well.
The winner in the category of the greatest increase in the percentage of employment in 2012 vs. 2013 was the company from Szczecin - Firma Audytorsko-Księgowa Sp. z o.o.
The organizer of the Gala is the Pro Progressio Foundation which, together with the outsourcing industry media: OutsourcingPortal website and a bimonthly magazine, Outsourcing&More, is responsible for current analysis of the outsourcing market. The Pro Progressio Foundation works with PAIiIZ (Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency), Investor Assistance Teams at the Municipal Governments, Regional Development Agencies, Special Economic Zones, industry organizations and providers of outsourcing services in Poland and abroad.
