Scandinavian Days event is coming soon!

On 4-6 April a unique event will  took place in Szczecin: Scandinavian Days, in which a series of events connected with one theme- Scandinavia is planned. During the first day there is a Business Conference entitled "Scandinavian model of cooperation in Szczecin - the exchange of knowledge and experience." It will consist of three panels: Szczecin as a platform between Scandinavia and Poland, Renewable Energy Sources as Common Ground of Regional Cooperation, Institutional Support Development of Modern Technologies  filled with interesting speeches and discussions of representatives of the Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, the mayor of Malmö, Nordic companies and experts in the renewable energy sector and Modern Technologies.
 
 
Scandinavian Days will also include:
  • artistic presentations - dance, theatre and culinary performances by children and young people from schools in Szczecin,
  • educational debate - "Secrets of the Finnish educational success" with the participation of Mr. Markku Markkula, a member of the EU Committee of the Regions,
  • Scandinavian short films show,
  • based on the book by Tove Jansson “Diary of Moominpappa” performance as a part of the Small Kontrapunkt Festival,
  • children's workshops,
  • an exhibition dedicated to Scandinavian crime literature: Henning Mankell, Jo Nesbø, Stieg Larsson, Arnaldur Indriðason, Åke Edwardson and many others,
  • concert of Silje Nergaard (Norway) within the 4th ME.BA international Jazz Festival presented by famous radio presenter from Polish Radio Program3, Marek Niedźwiedzki,
  • Conference on the labour market, international projects, transfer and mobility of young people within the CBC Programme South Baltic.
