A Szczecin tram and an Uckermark bus are promoting the Uckermark District and the economic space of Szczecin. The official christening of a bus manufactured by a transport company based in Uckermark (UVG), and a Szczecin tram, marked the beginning of a joint tourist and economic promotion of both regions. Nominations for the Szczecin Artistic Award and the Szczecin Patron of Culture Title for 2015 can be submitted until 29 February 2016. The Szczecin Artistic Award is granted to individual creators and artists connected with Szczecin for their artistic achievements in the calendar year preceding the award granting. This is a financial award, and its amount in the current year has been set at PLN 40,000. The collection of nominations to this year's honourable title of Ambassador for Szczecin has already begun. Candidates (both individuals and groups) for this prestigious title, awarded for undertaking activities aimed at creating a positive image of Szczecin, both in this country and abroad, can be proposed until 31 May. Nominations can also be made for institutions or mobile facilities, such as vehicles, vessels, sailing ships, etc., the activities and image of which promote Szczecin. BNO's rose-tinted start to the year

The first concert in the new year of the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra within the series "Wielcy Koncertmistrzowie (The Great Concert Masters)", which will be entitled "Sinfonietta na różowo (The rose-tinted sinfonietta)" will take place on 6 February at 7 p.m. in the TRAFO Centre.
