Movie playground!

In mid-February we would like to see you in another creative space prepared in the TWORZĘ SIĘ gallery. The Movie Playground is a blend of a film set and an animation studio with workshops for children and teenagers and film shows, not only for kids. During the next three months the gallery's guests will have the possibility to play with cinematography by acting as the director, actor or operator filming a particular scene. Film director Izabela Plucińska, Krzysztof Kuźnicki of the Camera Association, and visual artist Katarzyna Mierzejewska were invited to co-create the movie space.

The success of Ekoports – more than 4 million kg of waste!

Last year was the best one in the history of Ekoports in Szczecin. A huge increase in interest has been observed among the city residents who brought not only waste, but also useful items. These were then passed on to those in need. In 2015 Ekoports were visited by 83 thousand people. The most popular Ekoport venue, with 20 thousand visitors, was at Dworska St., while more than 14 thousand paid a visit to the one at Leszczynowa St., and 12 thousand to the Ekoport at Firlika St. In total, 4.1 million kg of waste was collected in 2015.
